I'm 1/2 years old!

Now when people ask you how old you are you can say, "I'm 1/2!" Grandaddy came up with that and Daddy and I think that's so funny! I can't believe it's been 6 months since you were born! So many things have changed since then and you are turning into a little boy with your own personality and likes/dislikes. We went to the doctor on Tuesday and you weighed 18 lbs, 14 ounces and you are 26 1/2 inches long. So you are a very healthy guy! Here are a few things about you:

• You are now eating baby food (cereal, green beans, sweet potatoes) and still lots of formula...8 ounces every 3 hours.



• You can sit up completely on your own and even withstand Belle attacking you with licks and not fall over. You sit up playing for a long time before you flop onto your stomach or back.



• You like to roll wherever you want to be. We will come back in the room after just a minute and you are all the way across the room at a toy that you wanted. It's really funny!



• You are still wearing mostly 6-9 month clothes, but you can wear 9-12 months too.



• You are in a big boy carseat now...no more travel system.



• You love going to the Traveler's game and dancing to the music. We try to go about once a week and you really seem to like all the action.



• You babble, sing, squeal, and laugh all the time now. You sit back in the back seat of the car and sing along to the radio...it's hilarious!

So, as everyone can see...you are growing up so fast. You are so much fun to play with and I look forward to picking you up from school to see how your day went. We love you so much Drew! Thank you for making our lives so much more complete than we ever could've imagined!!
