Razorbacks Red & White Game

Well, Drew had his first Razorback game experience. We went to Fayetteville for the Red-White game this weekend and Drew had a fabulous time. He called the hogs, gave hi-fives, clapped, screamed, laughed. He made it until half-time before he finally gave out. He had on a little football jersey that his Aunt Hannah gave him for Christmas and he looked adorable! This will be the first of many hog games together...but not for a few years. He is definitely too young to go to a normal game!

Drew loves him some Maebrie!!!

You got to see Maebrie again this weekend for a longer period of time. We went to Fayetteville for the Red-White Game and spent some time in Centerton playing first. She can sit up now so y'all can play. They also have a really fun doggie, Roma, that you chased all around their backyard. You are such a little stud!

15 months old!

I can't believe how big you are getting. You are such a little boy running all around and jabbering up a storm. You just started running and you think you are so cool and fast! You love being chased and you love for us to jump out and scare you. You love to read books...especially about animals. You love any kind of dog, but Belle the most. You give kisses, hugs, and high fives. Chicken nuggets, fruit, and waffles are your favorites. You have 5.5 teeth...still working on that 6th one. It's so fun watching you grow into a little boy. I can't wait until Caroline gets here to see the two of you playing together! You will be the best cousin ever! You love going to Fayetteville to play in her room. I think all her toys are fun to you now because you are big enough to make them work! We love you tons and tons!

Passed out on the couch!

Completely tuckered out after his weekend of fun! He and Brian were playing on Monday night while I was at school and all of a sudden he sat down on the couch and fell asleep like a big boy! So adorable and cuddly...how can you not kiss those cheeks all the time?!

I'm going to be an aunt!!! (again)

For those of you that are just finding out...sorry I haven't mentioned it before. Time has really flown by and Hannah (my sister) is 6 months pregnant with a precious little girl!! She and Brent will become the proud parents of Mary Caroline Jennings on July 25th (or somewhere around then). They are also engaged which is very exciting for us. That means that I will now be 2 for 2 on fabulous siblings-in-law. Ashley and Brent are the perfect fit for my brother and sister and our family. I cannot wait to spoil that little girl rotten!!! Here are some pictures from Hannah's shower this weekend. You can't even tell she's pregnant. She has the most adorable little baby bump!!!

Drew and Maebrie

We were in Fayetteville this weekend and got to have a quick lunch with Jamie, Maebrie, and Lindsay. It was a really nice treat and Drew and Maebrie are really starting to like each other. They are both getting to the age where they like to hug on each other and I love it! She's a beautiful little girl and I wish we could see her more often. She gets bigger and bigger everytime (I guess that's what happens when you go months between visits). We'll see you guys in about a week and a half!

Muscle Man

Look at these guns! This was taken in the process of stripping him down for his bath...see below. He thought he's unload the dishwasher in the meantime. Such a helpful little guy!

Don't you just love a little naked baby bootie?! He had just made a huge mess (with the applesauce) and we stripped him down for a bath. He decided to make a break for it and I couldn't resist a picture! So cute!

when you turn a toddler loose on applesauce! He decided that he wanted to feed himself and he ate all of it with only a little ending up on his face and in his hair. Such an independent little squirt!

First trip to the zoo

Okay, we've figured out where one of your favorite places is now! You absolutely love the zoo!!! You loved the monkeys and elephants the most so that's why they are included in this photo shoot! You were absolutely amazed at all the animals running around and you really wanted to climb in the cage with the elephants. You kept trying to squeeze through the bars. We'll definitely be going back to visit many times!

GO TRAVS!

Well, it's here again! One of our favorite time of year...Traveler's Baseball!!! Here are some pics of you and Daddy watching the players. It will definitely be different taking you to games this year. Last year you were happy to sit in your stroller or in our laps. This year you are already trying to run down the berm and climb the fence. It will be just as much fun...just not as relaxing for Mommy and Daddy!

Reading with Daddy

These are pictures of your favorite thing to do these days. You love for us to read to you about animals. This book is your favorite and it has Baby's 100 first words, but you only let us read the pages with animals on it. We are taking you to the zoo today to see some real animals. Hopefully that will make you as happy as we think it will!

Pajama time!

One of our new favorite times is right after you get a bath and are all snuggly in your PJs. Daddy and I like to put on our "soft clothes" too and then we all just have play time. That burns a little more of your crazy energy before we read stories and go to sleep. You are so cute at bedtime now. Last night you went and found your Blankie and your Binky and then you laid down on the floor in "sleep position" and closed your eyes. So I told you it was night-night time and you got up and led me and Daddy to the stairs, climbed them, and walked into your room and up to your bed. Then you turned around and held up your arms. It was so funny! You're getting so big!

Mean/Funny Face

You started making this face when you were mad at us...like when we would take something away from you that you really wanted. Then you realized that everytime you made it, we laughed hysterically at you. Now you make it on command. We have to make the face at you first, but then you mock us...and get really tickled at yourself. You crack me up!!! I could listen to you laugh all day/every day.

EASTER

These pictures are a little late, but here are some cute Easter pics of you! You had a mini-Easter egg hunt at Mimi and Pop's. You pretty much just chased the girls around while shaking two eggs with money in them. That was all you needed...one for each hand! You looked like such a big boy in your Easter pink shirt...very stylin'!

14 months (and a few days)

Well, you're 14 months old...and a few days by now. You are getting to be such a little boy and much less of a baby. You still like to cuddle when you are sleepy or sick, but the rest of the time you are running wild! You are an excellent walker...and an occasional runner. You are talking up a storm, and we're actually starting to understand you! You have just recently learned how to give hugs and it's adorable. You put your arms around our necks and squeeze really hard. You love to laugh and read books (especially your picture books about animals), you love to play outside, and most of all you LOVE Belle! She thinks you are pretty neat too and you follow her all around giving her hugs and kisses. You even tried to pick her up last night. You are eating pretty well these days. You love chicken nuggets, fruit, waffles, and milk. You'll eat ham, turkey, green beans, and occasionally other veggies. We are so proud of you and look forward to every minute!
