Watching the Fireworks

We watched the Riverfest fireworks on Sunday night with the Ezzis and the Heads and it was so fun. The kiddos got to run all around and burn off some energy and then a few of them got to see their first fireworks show. Drew saw them last year, but they made him cry. This year he was mesmerized. Between us there were 5 kids there (the two oldest didn't make it). Emily is still to little to participate in the wagon ride, so she's not in the picture, but the others are. It was so fun watching Drew run around with them and Brody is crawling now, so it won't be long until those two are terrizing Bo and Carley!

Riverfest with the Wilsons

We went to Riverfest and walked around on Saturday with David and Laura Wilson and their adorable little Walker. Walker and Drew are only 3 weeks apart, so they have a big time together. They made lots of new friends running around on the grass.

My little boy!

Drew's getting so big and fun. He runs around like a mad man a lot of the time, but it's really fun. He's hitting a little bit of a difficult stage, but I'm sure that's just the first of many. He just turned 16 months old and he's walking, running, talking, eating, up a storm. Love him so much!!!

Update on Belle

She's doing much better so far. We don't get her blood test results back until later this week, but she's perked up a lot in the last couple of days. She doesn't look very happy here, but she really is. She got to come home on Saturday, but they had to leave her port in (under the red bandage) but she got that out yesterday. She's eating much better and she even ran around a little today. Thanks for everyone's thoughts!

Please pray for our Belle!

I know a lot of people think that dogs are just "animals", but all you pet lovers understand how we feel about our baby girl. Of course we love Drew tons more, but Belle is definitely our baby too. Our first "baby" and she's really sick right now. I took her to the vet this afternoon to have some tests run because she's just been off lately. She's not eating (which everyone knows is totally unlike her) and she's just been feeling bad. So we found out that she's got liver and possible kidney problems and we had to admit her into the animal hospital tonight. The vet thinks she might have something that could be contagious to us and we had to keep her in isolation for a few days just in case. We definitely don't want Drew coming in contact with something that could potentially make him sick and she needs some IVs. So it looks like we are without our girl this weekend because the tests can't be processed until Tuesday because of the holiday weekend.
So please keep her in your prayers and us too because we miss her. Drew just kept hugging her and kissing her at the doctor because he could tell she didn't feel well. We just hope this all turns out well and we can bring her home and give her medicine. Thanks for all the help we got today...you guys are the best!

Happy 29th to Mommy!

First off, notice Drew's mullet in the pics with the crayons! So beautiful!
Well, I had my 29th birthday last week and it was a wonderful week. I am one of those people that LOVES birthdays and I like to celebrate mine for about a week. We went out to dinner with family and friends several different times and that's always fun! On my actual birthday Drew, Brian, and I went to the park and then they cooked me dinner. And Brian made me my very favorite...a chocolate pie! What a fabulous husband! Thanks to everyone for making me feel so special on my day!!!

Mother's Day

We had a fabulous Mother's Day. We started it out with dinner with Brian's mom on that Thursday which was really fun. And then we had brunch at Loca Luna (so yummy) with my family and lunch with Brian's dad and Lesa. It was a fun filled weekend! Here are some cute pictures from all the festivities.
