On March 16, 2010, Brian and I sent off our final payment on my car making us finished with Baby Step #2...Debt Free except the house! I really didn't expect it to feel as amazing as it does. We paid off $20,000 in 6 months and didn't really make that many changes. We learned from Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University that we needed to set up a written budget, set some short and long term goals, and get on the same page financially. And thanks to that class, we've done it! I couldn't be prouder of us. We are teaching Drew how to work and earn money and hopefully changing our family tree long term. So now it's on to Baby Step #3...3-6 months of living expenses in an emergency fun. Here we go!
