Two and a half

Well, Drew...you're 2 1/2 today. I can't believe it! Time really does fly when you are a parent. You are so funny and creative and smart. The things you say really surprise us sometimes. Last night you told Daddy "Love you so much" and it of course melted both our hearts. You really love playing outside...especially hitting the baseball. You can hit it really well off a tee and can hit it a lot of the time when Daddy or I pitch it to you. You love to swim and be in the water. You're getting very brave and love to jump off the side of the pool...we're working on jumping off the boat now. You are doing really well at school and really starting to learn a lot. You have a new "big boy" room that is decorated with sports stuff and you are very proud of it. You like to talk to the baby that lives in my belly button, but can't decide if you want a brother or sister. You are still an extremely picky eater...no veggies whatsoever. You still don't sleep through the night, but you are getting better about escaping your room and climbing into our bed. Now you just call "Mommy, I want you" from your bed.

We love you so much peanut and are so proud of you. You are everything we could've wanted in a child and we can't wait to share the next baby with you. You are going to be such a great big brother. Thank you for making us smile (even when we're frustrated)!
