Go Hogs Go!

Well, this has been an interesting week for the Arkansas Razorbacks! Coach Houston Nutt resigned and is now the head coach at Ole Miss. He has been our coach for 10 years, so this is a little sports milestone in your life. Right now the powers-that-be are looking for our next coach. Just thought this was important enough for a post!

10 months old!

You are 10 months old on Thanksgiving Day! How fun for you!!! You got tons of attention today. A little too much, but you loved it anyway! You have gotten so big and are really acting like a little boy and not a baby anymore. It's kinda sad, but really fun at the same time! You are still eating baby food and formula, but you are starting to experiment with table food...mostly at daycare. You won't really eat anything fun for us! You are crawling really fast, pulling up on everything, walking if you are holding onto something, and you can stand up from a squat. It's so cute. When you stand up all by yourself, you think you are so big and you usually start laughing! You are cutting your first tooth and it's finally broken the surface a little. Thank goodness because you aren't sleeping good at all and have started sleeping with us...I know, I said I would never do this, but it's the only way we get any sleep! Hopefully once your tooth comes in you will start sleeping alone again. You love other babies and bigger kids and really love Belle! You can't get enough of her. She's the first thing you want every morning. You are a very sweet little boy and very loving and social. You love all your little friends and love playing! I can't believe it's already been 10 months! Time really does fly when you are having fun!

Happy 1st Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!
Your first thanksgiving went really well. Daddy went to deer camp, so we just went to Grandma Faulkner's for lunch and then spent the night in Searcy. You were pretty overwhelmed at Grandma's, but you were really good...just really quiet. You had a lot of fun getting to play with Aunt Hannah since she stayed in Searcy too. We are so thankful that we are able to be your parents. You are the most adorable baby and so much fun and you bring so much joy to our lives every second!

Drew and Mattie

I thought this picture of Drew and Mattie was so adorable! Mattie is our good friends Tony and Stephanie's little girl and we had lunch with her when Callie was babysitting. Drew was amazed by her and wanted to sit over by her. He did pretty good, but he kept wanting to poke her so we had to keep an eye on him! She's so cute and I love her little cheeks!!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

You were a spider for Halloween and you were a HUGE hit! We took you trick-or-treating at your grandparent and great-grandparent's houses and you were pretty worn out, but you did so good. Me and Daddy were pirates for Jaime & Jason's party. I think you are really going to love Halloween next year because you'll be able to walk and I promise I won't put you in such a poofy costume again! You liked your costume, but hated the fact that we had to take it off to get in the car and then put it on again! We had fun!

You're 9 months old!

You are getting so big so quickly! You are 9 months old now and you are everywhere! You are crawling, pulling up on things, and walking along furniture! So needless to say, we have to watch you all the time. You are jabbering non-stop, but we can still only understand a few words. You have tried a few real foods. You kind of like mashed potatoes and you like crackers. Still eating mostly baby food and doing pretty good. You weighed 22lbs and are 29 inches long. At your last check-up, the doctor said you are doing great. We are having an absolute blast with you and you brighten up every second of the day! We love you, Drew!

Birthday Celebrations

Well, we celebrated two grandparent birthdays in October and I've been a really bad blogger, so I'll write about them now! Your Big P.P. (aka Grandaddy) had a birthday on Oct 16 and your Grandma Kathy had one on Oct 25. You are very lucky to have such great grandparents! Happy birthday to both of you!
