Lenten Fair

We had a Lenten Fair at our church on the Wednesday before Easter. We have a spaghetti supper, Easter Egg hunt, crafts, story time, etc for all the kids. They split up into age groups and go through rotations. I led the kindergarten thru 2nd grade group so I didn't get to go with Drew, but Daddy did a great job taking pictures, helping you, and keeping up with Davis! You had a great time playing with all your friends and listening to the Easter story.

Drew Harris's birthday party

Drew has 2 friends at church that are also named Drew, so they all go by their first and last names. Drew Harris had his 5th birthday party at Mega Gymnastics a few weeks ago and our Drew had a wonderful time. It took him a little bit to get warmed up because this was the first party he's been to where he didn't know all the kids there. But there were a bunch of church friends there and he ended up having a great time. He got to swing from the high bar and land in the foam pit, run and jump into the foam pit, walk on the balance beam, jump on the bouncy floor and trampoline. He had so much fun. He loves Drew Harris and thinks he is really cool because he's 3 years older, but still likes to talk and hang out with our Drew.

Drew on April 4th, 2010

I like to ask Drew questions on video occasionally so that I can remember how he says certain things. Plus, I love to hear his little voice and I know I will really cherish these videos when he's older. So here we are on Easter Sunday talking in Davis's room. You can hear Davis talk a little too some of the time. Sorry, but this video is kinda long!

Kisney Chesney

That's what Drew calls Kenny Chesney. We love him at our house and especially the Summertime song. Drew perfected this song on the way home from the beach last summer. We played it over and over until he memorized the chorus. He sang it for me on video the other night and I had to put it on here. I hope it works!

3 months old

Well, Davis...you are 3 months old! You have started grinning and giggling and talking and playing like a wildman lately. You grin so big that we can see your upper gums and usually give a little laugh noise when you do it. You have figured out how to hit your toys with your hand on your bouncy seat or play mat. You love being outside and going on walks in the stroller. You have really started to enjoy your Bumbo seat and really like it when we sit it on the dinner table so that you can be a part of family dinnertime. You are the happiest baby in the morning. You fuss a little to let us know you are awake, but once we pick you up you can't stop smiling. It's so nice to start the day like that. It makes my heart so happy and usually makes Drew happier in the mornings too. You are a pretty good sleeper. Our only complaint is that you go to bed around 7:30 which is very early in our household. You are starting to stay up a little later now though. You usually get up once in the night between 2am and 3 am and then sleep until 6 or 6:30. You are eating 6 ounces every 2-3 hours. You are such a wonderful, happy baby. We like to say that "you've finally got life figured out" after your sickly start the first 2 months. We have so much fun with you and Drew and I get so much joy out of watching you guys together. You are already big buddies and I love it! You are a joy to our lives and we love you so much!

Our little worker bee

We have been doing some serious renovation around our house lately. New trim, paint, flooring, etc. I guess all of our work has inspired Drew. He's really been doing some hard work with his Handy Manny tool set and Home Depot tools. He'll say, "I had a hard day today" because he works so hard. So adorable!

My guys

I absolutely love being a mom of 2 boys. I get the biggest kick out of what they think is funny. I can't wait to be a baseball/basketball/football/soccer mom. And nothing warms my heart like watching Drew and Davis interact with their Daddy. He's such a wonderful role model for them of how a man is supposed to live his life and love his family.
