Welcome 2008!

2007 was a FABULOUS year. Having you made it so much fun and it absolutely flew by. I can't believe this is how fast my life is going to go from now on. We spent New Years Eve at Tommy and Kay's with lots of fun kiddos. You made it until 11:30 and then woke up in time to ring in the new year. It was fun to kiss Daddy at midnight and then we got to have a Drew-sandwich kiss! You are the light of our lives and we can't wait for another great year! We also watched the Hogs play in the Cotton Bowl on New Years Day. That was fun too even though the game was sad! Hopefully that will be something better in 2008 too...our new coaching staff! I hope you get everything you want in 2008!!! Here are some fun pictures from the last few days!

Drew's First Christmas!!!

Your first Christmas was very busy, but very fun! These pictures go from our little Charlie Brown tree, to opening presents, to visiting Santa at Crews, to looking at the lights at the Enchanted Forest. You had a great time and were amazed with Christmas lights, Christmas trees, wrapping paper, and toys. You had the stomach virus, but you had a great time anyway...and passed it to everyone in the meantime! We loved watching you get excited over certain toys and playing with the bags and tissue paper. Your daddy got you your first baseball glove and ball and he was so excited to get it for you! He's been wanting to ever since he found out you were a boy. You did really well with all the traveling, no naps, and loud people in the two days of celebrating! We love you! Can't wait to celebrate more Christmases with you!

1st Razorback Basketball Game

We took you to your first Razorback basketball game on your 11 month birthday. You had a fantastic time! You clapped and danced to all the music they played and you paid attention a lot of the time. You liked staring at all the people and you really loved it when they called the hogs! It was really fun to share this experience with you even though we didn't win!

HAPPY 11 MONTHS!!!

Well, you're 11 months old! I can't believe it! I'm not really sure where to start because you do so much stuff that is funny right now! You laugh hysterically all the time! You think your daddy and Belle are the greatest things in the world. You like to dance anytime you hear music. You are officially a walker. You're getting pretty good and you even try to run sometimes, but that doesn't usually turn out well...you always fall. You have two teeth coming in. One on the bottom and one on the top. You are eating table food now, but you're pretty picky. You won't really try new stuff that well, but oh well. You aren't starving! You like anything bread-related and any kind of fruit, but that's about it. You love to play with anything that lights up or makes noise. You still aren't sleeping that well, but that's basically laziness on our part I think. You love to snuggle and read stories and talk. You say Mama and Dada and Belle. I think you are trying to say ball and bye-bye, but you don't say them all the time. You are so much fun and we are really looking forward to the next year of your life! You make our life so much sweeter!

Drew...meet Santa!

Santa came up to my office last week and everyone's kids and grandkids got to sit on his lap and tell them what they wanted. You did so good! You didn't cry or anything. You sat on his lap and smiled for the camera and then you shifted so that you could see his face and you stared at him for a little bit. When I picked you up, you had a bunch of his beard in your hands! I love this picture! Merry 1st Christmas, baby!

North Little Rock Christmas Parade

A few weeks ago we got the fun priviledge of riding in the North Little Rock Christmas Parade. Daddy and his friend Hoops drove the Union firetruck and we got to ride in it with his family. It was so fun and you had a big time. The NLR high school band was behind us and you liked watching them marching and you got a huge kick out of watching the kids run into the street to get the candy we were throwing. This was such a fun opportunity for us...especially since this is your first Christmas!

Brrrr...it's getting colder!

This picture is actually from a few weeks ago when it really was cold. Then it got hot, and now it's getting cold again. I thought you looked so big in this stocking hat that your great Aunt Donna gave you last year for Christmas. I can't believe it fits you because it looked so big when we first got it! You think you are so cool when you wear it. Now if I could just get a picture of you without that stinky binky! It's hard to tell how much you've changed when you can't see the bottom half of your face!!!
