Beach Trip 2010

Not sure why I haven't posted these pictures yet...not sure what's wrong with me! Oh wait...life with 2 boys!!! Anyway, these pictures are from our trip to Gulf Shores in September. We went by ourselves...just the 4 of us. And whether that was a good idea or not, we survived. We survived Davis having a serious stomach virus and having like 10-12 dirty diapers a day...and because of this he was extremely needy. If he saw me, I had to be holding him or he would throw a gigantic fit. We survived Drew becoming bored with us and not having anyone to play with. We survived sleep deprivation that put all 4 of us on edge, but we managed to have a great time anyway! We drove through the night and woke the boys up to go through the tunnel, and got to the condo at 2:30am Saturday. We decided to do this because Davis is such a bad car-rider and it was easier if they slept the whole time. Here are the fun things we did. We ate at LuLu's twice, hunted for crabs, played in the awesome kiddie pool, mommy & Davis shopping day, Daddy & Drew beach day, bubbles at the Hangout, mini-golf with the Greens, relaxing on the beach during naptime (Brian and I alternated days), listening to the waves at night, watching BP sweep the beaches for oil and making the sand super soft, playing in the waves, burying each other in the sand, etc. It was definitely a memorable trip and I am so glad we did it even though it was pretty stressful at times.
