The Poe boys

My boys are hilarious! They love each other so much and I love watching them together. Davis adores his big brother and is such a Daddy's boy. Brian loves it that Davis definitely prefers him. It's only fair because Drew is still a pretty big Mommy's boy. Drew is so good with Davis. He never plays too rough and he's always talking to him and checking on him and doing things to make Davis smile. Davis is finally starting to laugh out loud for us, so that's really fun. He can't sit up on his own, but always wants to so his favorite spot is his Bumbo seat. He's skinnier than Drew was so his fat little legs still fit in the seat. Davis actually rolled over yesterday. He doesn't spend much time on his belly since we don't have carpet downstairs, but loves lying under his play gym. So yesterday morning I left him lying on his back when I went to take a shower and when I came back he was on his belly. He's been able to roll halfway and chooses to sleep on his side now, but he finally figured out the shoulder thing. He's getting too big too fast. Especially since he's my last baby!

Drew went for his 3 year check up yesterday (6 months late) and he's doing so great. He weighs 34 lbs (50%) and is 38 inches (50%), so he's living up to his name and proving to be an "average" boy. His picky eating is slowly starting to get better. He actually ate some fried rice last night, so that was a first. For a picky eater, he loves some really random things. He could eat my weight in black olives (gets that from his grandma) and he loves to eat sushi. He only eats the rice and spicy sauce of of it...mostly takes a few bites and gives it back, but he's gotten some seaweed plenty of times and never really minds. He informed us a few weeks ago that he would eat PB&J if we had white bread. Who knew that was keeping him from eating sandwiches at home! He eats wheat bread by itself, but he didn't think it was a sandwich on that bread I guess!

Needless to say, our house is crazy these days, but couldn't be more fun!
