22 months old

Well, as usual you actually turned 22 months several weeks ago. I'm bad at blogging on time! But I did want to try to list all the amazing things you are doing these days. There's no way I'll remember them all, but here's my feeble attempt!

• You are a very picky eater. You only want junk food or fruit these days.
• You love anything related to sports...especially basketball. You love shooting basketballs and throwing footballs and baseballs.
• You are really starting to talk up a storm. You've just started saying "mine" and saying "I" or "me" instead of referring to yourself as "Drew-Drew" You just started using sentences this week. Last night you said "I wanna talk Daddy." It's nice because now you can tell us what you want instead of whining as much.
• You are still super attached to your Binky (pacifier) and Blankie and have added a new friend to the mix with a monkey. You have to have all three with you if you are the least bit sleepy or upset. Pretty cute actually!
• You love to play outside and would stay out there 24/7 if we would let you. You love to swing and slide at the park and to ride your bike (push toy motorcycle).
• You absolutely love babies...especially Caroline. You talk about her nonstop and ask to see her.
• You are calling people by their names all the time now. When you see them or talk to them on the phone or look at pictures. The funniest is that you call Ben "Uncle Muscles" and you really have no idea what his real name is. It's great and he loves it!
• You know who Santa Claus and his reindeer are and you love to show them to us in books and pictures.
• You are so funny and your smile and laugh are so contagious! You love all your friends at school and talk about them all the time.
• My #1 favorite thing is that you like to pray. Before eating or around bedtime. You fold your hands together and bow your head while we pray and then you yell "AMEN!" It's adorable and you usually make us pray several times before you will eat.

We love you so much, buddy! You make every second of mine and Daddy's life so fun and exciting. We are really looking forward to spending this Christmas with you!
