3 weeks old

Well, you are a little over 3 weeks old now. And you are already so much different than when we brought you home. You are eating about 4 ounces every feeding now. You wake us up twice a night (every 4 hours) to eat, so that's really good as far as Daddy and I are concerned. You are a very happy laid back baby. You only get fussy when you are hungry or your paci falls out. You love it, but haven't quite mastered the art of keeping it in your mouth. You suck it like Maggie Simpson does and it falls out a lot! But you are a very happy laid back baby and we are extremely thankful for that. You love to play the "tongue game." Daddy or I will stick our tongue out and then you stick yours out. It's very cute and fun! You are very observant. You are always looking around and reaching out for things. You have started taking a real interest in Belle. When you are lying down beside her and she sniffs you or licks you, you always turn your eyes toward her and reach out for her. You seem to like the way her fur feels on your hands. You definitely recognize Daddy's voice. He talks to you on the phone when he's at work and your eyes get really big when you hear him. He's so great with you and we love him very much!
