Race for the Curew

Drew and I did Race for the Cure this year and boy was it cold! But he was such a good trooper and really liked all the people. We went with Jaime and some of her family and had a great time. Brian was actually working that day, so they came out in full force...even had a pink fire truck. Now I think he understands why I have to meet Jaime so early before the race...you can't find anyone out there!

Carving pumpkins

We carved pumpkins for the first time with Drew. I know...this is his 3rd Halloween...it's very sad but Halloween always sneaks up on us. We still haven't ever been to a pumpkin patch...maybe next year right? And of course my camera died again on Halloween...Drew was Spider Man. Very cute! Drew loved helping Brian carve the pumpkins...but he's like me and doesn't want to touch the slimy pumpkin guts! I thought they turned out really well. We went with the old trusty drawn on designs!

State Fair

It was raining this year when we took Drew to the fair, but we still had a great time. He loves looking at the animals, so we pretty much just visit all the petting zoos and eat. But who doesn't love to eat Fair Food! The goats are still by far his favorite animal in case you couldn't tell!

Sylvan Hills Bears

We took Drew to a Sylvan Hills game and he loved it of course! It's fun watching him really enjoy sports. It's a good thing too since Brian and I love them so much too!

Pumpkin Patch

Our church, NLR First Methodist, is the Pumpkin church and we sell tons of pumpkins every year for the youth group to fund some of their stuff. Brian and I signed up to work this year and picked Drew up a little early from school so that he could help us. It was really fun helping people find their perfect pumpkins!

Sibling Class

I took Drew to a sibling class at Baptist Hospital a few weeks ago so he could "learn" how to be a big brother. He did so good! He got to learn how to hold, feed, and change the baby's diapers and he also got a cool goody bag with stuff that the dadddy's wear. He got to see the baby nursery and the surgical part where he was born and where we'll have Davis. He was such a smart, well-behaved little guy. He was by far the youngest in the class, but he really listened to the teacher and did everything she said. It was really fun to watch!

Fun at the park

Since the football game wasn't all that exciting after the first half, we all went to the park for a little fun and then to Chili's to watch the end and get our grub on. Drew had a big time getting pushed on the swing by Grandaddy!
