Potty Training-TAKE 1

We've started the potty training process. Drew is very interested in the potty and people going potty, so we bought him a little potty and he's been using it pretty regularly. Sometimes he tells us he has to go and sometimes we just ask and he does. But he's learning. We decided to give it a try since he's so interested...didn't want to miss a good window and his teachers at daycare thought it would be a good time too. So he's now wearing pull-ups during the day and regular diapers at night. We'll see how it goes. He's so young and he's a boy, so we don't have very high expectations. Good luck little guy!

Sherwood FOP vs. Razorback Alumnae

We went to the most fun fundraiser on Saturday. The Sherwood Police played basketball against several Razorback players. It was so fun and Drew got his picture taken with all of them! Cedric Cobbs, Tony Bua, Ernie Murray, Pat Bradley, Scotty Thurman, JJ Meadors. It was so neat!

Go Bears!

We took Drew to his first Sylvan Hills High School football game on Friday. He had a great time...until halftime and then he was ready to go. There just wasn't anywhere for him to run around without getting hit by a random football so we had to go. But he had fun watching the game and he was clapping and cheering. It was the first of many Friday nights we will spend in that stadium!

Happy 1st bday Mattie!

Sunday was Mattie's 1st Birthday party and it was very fun. Except for the fact that Drew hadn't had a nap and he was very whiny and cranky! But she's adorable and she did so good eating her cake and opening presents. You are such a beautiful little girl and we love you!

Fun day

Caroline came over with my parents to watch the Texas game on Saturday. Even though the game was awful...we still had a fun day. Look how big she's getting (2 months old)!

How cute is this little Hog fan?

Drew let me put a Hog tattoo on his face for the game the other day! So fun!

20 months old!

Well...you are 20 months old! I can't believe it! My baby is almost two! You are so funny and independent and brave and loving and friendly. You are still a very picky eater, but you love pretty much every breakfast food we have introduced, so that's good. You love hot dogs (dit-dogs) and chicken nuggets. You love all kinds of fruit too which is a great thing. You love milk and juice and water...and cokes (although that's a rare treat). You are obsessed with football and baseball and love to watch them on tv or in person. You love the Razorbacks and every time you see a Hog you say "Wooo...pig!" You can say names really well now and you talk all the time. You have started putting words into phrases which is so cute and grown-up. You love playing with Caroline and call her your baby. You love playing with your older cousins too and they are so great at entertaining you. You love school and all your friends and teachers there. You usually walk right into the room and start playing and my favorite thing about there is that when you leave in the afternoon you all give each other hugs and kisses! It's so precious. I love that you've made your own friends and that you talk about them all the time. We love you so much and are so proud of the little boy that you've become. You are so sweet and sensitive and caring. But you are also the perfect mix of wild little boy. You are so brave and smart and creative. You know just when to give hugs and kisses...it's like you can tell when me or Daddy have had a hard day. We love your smiling face, blonde hair, blue eyes, and precious heart. We love you!
